Fire padded down the town's main street, holding his left wing over Jack. Who was walking next to him. Ruvi's unconscious body was draped over Fire's horns, and Nicholas' body was coiled up in Fire's tail. Fire continued like this until he had reached Shane's vehicle. Jack pointed Fire to the correct house , then he walked in front of the house saying to Fire.
"Try to wake up Nicholas, and hurry." Then Jack walked into Nicholas' house.

Campus Avenue bears a strange energy, intangible, ethereal. Halfway between the Administration Building and the Lower Dorms, six ancient stoneworks line the road. They are arranged the same way as the pips on the six side of a die, even rows with a gap between, where the brick road runs.

Jonathan and Wolf got dressed and heads for what was left of the galley. There they each took a military ration meal. Wolf took a can of soda while Jonathan helped himself to some cheap tea.
"Never drink soda?"
"I have one once in a while but mostly I drink tea."
